Dan graduated with a diploma in Computer Programming Technology at the height of the dot com boom in 2001, but built his first website five years earlier while still in grade school. He spent time as a web developer, quality assurance analyst in Genesys Large Scale Systems Testing lab and as a technical account manager for computer controlled telephony clients like Bell Aliant and the Canadian Firearms Center, before joining Revolution in 2007, where he was part of the team that first launched social media marketing and other digital marketing initiatives for clients like New Brunswick Tourism, New Brunswick Community College and Irving Oil.

Before returning to his current position as director of digital marketing, Dan held digital marketing roles at software-as-a-service startups including Introhive and Salesforce Radian6, where he managed the brand’s YouTube channel and video production. He was also an early employee of a leading-edge start-up, Civilized, where he helped grow their social media audience to over 100,000 fans and their website audience to millions of visitors.
